I am a photo-documentarian based in Venice, Los Angeles.
A concept like < short stories real people > had been on my mind for a long time. I wasn’t sure how, or what form it would take until Pirco and I visited the island of Kauai. We met many people with intriguing stories to tell. Nothing long and fancy, just real people telling us stories about their lives. We were curious, humbled and entertained.
Of course, everybody has a short story to tell, which became the inspiration for this photo-essay project.
